Yesterday we didn't didn't do much. Me, A and P finished the first floor and cleared the entrance. I never seen so much garbage together. Although it was great to see P excited about the project while i was explaining more things about it and working hard with us. There are still some issues between him and Ma (Macieira) but it's getting better.
Today was a fucking hard work day. Me and J went to buy more wood for P and M's room. Once we got there we made a nice lunch before the hard work:
- Entrance cleared of junk and garbage. Really heavy work. Even with the shovle it was hard for me and M to do it. But then S, L, and A appeared when we were almost finishing it and it was clear in a blink of an eye.
- First and second floor cleaned with water. We spent like almost a fucking hour trying to put away all of the water from the first floor and the entrance. Too much water in my opinion. Since it was dark and we were all exhausted, we went home.
Plans for tomorrow are:
- Waking up early!!!!!!
- Finnish the fabric for our room;
- Board up P and M's room;
- Collect some tyres for the bed if it's sunny.
Also, yesterday me and J caught up (finally) with the Galp vigilant and we told J a bunch of things about the place and the surroundings:
- There are plans for that whole site in 2 years, and it's for the TGV (High speed train). 2 years for me it's fine, although i don't think - and knowing how things work in portugal - that they will manage to speed up the plans for TGV in 2 years. It's something that's still being discussed in the Government and is also extremely polemic in this country.
- The neighbours are also ilegal. So even if they don't like us or don't want us there, they won't call the police or whatever. Ma tried to speak with the old lady and proposed pulling electricity to our building from her house, but i guess she was afraid of us doing that and she didn't agreed.
Overall i'm getting more excited about things. P and M are helpful and hardworkers, specially if you consider that they have to work on the streets for living during a part of the day.
When i look at the building i really see a huge potential and i can fully imagine our plans working there. I have a bunch of ideas, i'm just putting them together to show the others and see what they think about them.
