yesterday we went to the big tank the kids were talking about. it's fucking huge. we can add another star to our hotel: swimming pool 5 mins away (check the picture).
S has been sick. the whole crew went there to see him at the hospital. he's much better now. i think the stress and violence of the past weeks was a catalyst. we are all healing now.
a girl, C, has been staying for a couple of days. we are still unsure on whether she'll stay or not. we are all weary of going back to the same old stressful patterns.
today city hall is going to visit (we think). it will be a good moment to show the project (and get kicked out, too). we were offered by the urban cleaning department of city hall the keys to the new chain they're putting up. but the employee said that it was either keeping it safe or demolishing everything. therefore it is key right now to make clear all our objectives. i also think they are concerned about our water and electricity systems. but all we're going to say is: put a meter and we'll pay. that simple, really. i also did the math and since we're using the public lighting circuit, our power, for now, is below what the 3 public lighting bulbs spend (i suspect the overall load of those lights was at about 750W when they were working, our house load is about 200W thanks to eco lighting and low powered gadgets).
i also climbed the post all the way up and rehearsed a full connection. but for stupid reasons our switchboard was disconnected. so i went up for nothing. just another skill to add to our super-power list.
