the hydrant is fixed, P and Ma fixed it. as for the rest, it is pretty much the same. some more cleaning and moving. now that i'm back at work, i can't work as hard as before, so i guess the rhythm is slowing down.
as for the mornings, they are getting better and better. too bad it takes me 1h30 to get to work now (versus 20m).

some holes drilled, hung some of the green cloths, P is finishing up his dog door, i got the shower in place, soon we might have a proper shower. a LOT of sleeping. our (insanely sized) bed has direct sunlight during most of the day, it's a wonderful thing to sleep under the sun. we all slept wonderfully, this bed is wonderful. it also wakes me up in time for work, which is great. i guess i'm starting to get used to this lifestyle, and it isn't that much different from my previous one.

we had a somewhat slow day today, but we got, so far:
- working toilet (fuck yeah)
- shower stuff, needs the connection, within a couple of days it'll be done
- the red room is up
- hooks for two other rooms are mostly ready
- the kitchen is getting nicer with new furniture
we continue to have issues with water, excess pressure and bad threads. we need a new hydrant.
we're falling a bit behind on our expected schedule. anyway, a bunch of holes and a fake third of wall is up. besides that L, S and A did a lot of cleaning in the bottom floor, got a squat toilet and a lot of tires for the bed. T finished the sewing so we can set up the first fabric room, once we do the right holes. i've been having some issues with the drill (it's battery powered), the concrete is very hard and seems to have metal plates after some depth, which means that some things might have to be nailed in instead of screwed in.

even though the plan was to get the wall up, instead we just did more cleaning. me and P set up some windows using the top floor ones, so now the 3rd floor has all the windows covered except the little tops. the pigeons are also learning how to fly, so i expect them to leave soon and we can close everything up (and end this pigeon thing).
so no news for now. got some more water containers to the house, and also found our hydrant reduction to be gone. all of the stuff we set up is gone. i have no idea what happened. got the week off, so hopefully more news soon.

today a lot of work got done.
- A and L moved the hose so it is much better concealed.
- L and T got a shovel and a big sheet of metal from a construction site
- A and L cleaned the major junk from the top floor
- T got hardware for the knitting of the room
- P and M got the gas lamp working so now we have a lot of light
on 2010.03.02 we met again at the house, O, P, M, S, T and me, for another discussion about what to do. O, P and M are already living there and, as far as i know, it's working out ok.
on arrival i found that the hose had snapped from the hydrant. this indicates poor setup and the water ended up being disconnected again. now we can use this to hide the pipe and to do a proper connection. two main issues: the lack of sealant rubber and a wrench big enough to tighten the big hose parts. these are easy to fix, but since i work during the week it might take a while to get it done.
